The vastness of Australia’s land mass brings with it unique climatic and travelling conditions. Temperatures and humidity vary greatly from state to state and city to city and the use of air-ride, climate controlled, GPS tracked vehicles with satellite communications is critical in covering these vast expanses.

IAS acquired the former Federal Government Art Exhibition business (DAS Art Services - DAS stands for Department of Administrative Services) as part of a Federal Government privatisation program. This division and its excellent team of managers, drivers and art handlers have the most extensive experience in this country in the movement of art and artifacts.

IAS operates a unique fleet of modern linehaul vehicles equipped with air-ride suspension, temperature and humidity control, GPS Satellite tracking, satellite communications and registered sleeper cabins to provide dedicated transportation services for all types of fine art and exhibitions moving across the country.

This fleet, combined with our team of experienced drivers ensures the best possible handling for both indemnified and non-indemnified exhibitions.

Additionally IAS operates regular Shuttle Services between the major capitals of Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Darwin, Tasmania and Perth as well as to far North Queensland. These services operate on a fixed schedule and are a cost effective option to move single works of art and small exhibitions between the major metropolitan cities and regional centres.

Our fleet of trucks and equipment is fully owned and we do not subcontract our services - your exhibition never leaves our hands whilst in our care.
