On Saturday afternoon at 5.04pm I took a call from a private client in Perth who had just had a fire and needed the emergency evacuation of fifteen valuable artworks in order to avoid smoke damage.
Our WA State Manager Doug Walker, immediately swung into action with one of our art handlers Steve James and rushed to the client’s premises. On arrival they isolated the artworks, wrapped them at the client’s premises and safely transported them to our climate store for further assessment and conservation.
The client expressed his sincere gratitude to both Doug and Steve and was surprised and suitably impressed by the swiftness of their response to his emergency call. “Thanks very much for your outstanding and timely assistance!”
It is moments like these that define who we are.
