Kingsley Mundey

Managing Director

Executive MBA Kingsley has 40 years international & domestic logistics experience in airfreight, road transport & seafreight. He acquired IAS in 2003 and is passionate about building and sustaining a business with high ethics, strong credibility, consistent dependable and affordable service, and a passion for what we do. His mantra is “we do what we say we will do, when we say we will do it, for the price we quoted”. Kingsley contributes significantly to support the arts sector. IAS is a family business and his eldest son Jeremy is the General Manager.

Jeremy Mundey

General Manager, Storage & Facilities

Jeremy has been involved in the family business for some time and has worked his way up through IAS learning all the different areas of the business. He has worked on major projects including Sydney Contemporary, Australian Museum, Australian Parliament House and Sydney University Museum. Jeremy takes pride in developing, managing, and overseeing our network of commercial museum standard storage facilities throughout Australia. Jeremy is committed to providing the best art logistics services and storage facilities for our clients.

Ian Charman

General Manager Domestic

Ian has been working in logistics for over 20 years having been involved in all aspects of the industry, including general management, domestic and international transport, sales and marketing. As General Manager Domestic Ian is responsible for all operational components of our domestic business. Ian enjoys the challenge of working with new and existing clients, developing ideas, creating concepts and providing efficient solutions. He takes a great deal of pleasure in ultimately delivering the customer what they want and to the agreed service level.

Andy Lynch

National Manager Domestic

Andy is a well-known figure to the arts industry in Australia. Having spent some time away from IAS, Andy has the unique experience of having worked for IAS and also spent time as a customer.  Whilst at IAS Andy has been involved in all aspects of our business ranging from art handler and installer to operations scheduler and customer service. Andy’s current role as National Manager Domestic enables Andy to combine all of his wide ranging experience and skill set.  Andy values the relationships he has developed throughout the industry over the years and is committed to providing cost effective and efficient solutions coupled with a complete and quality service.

Simon Hartas

National Technical & Training Manager

Simon’s art handling career began as a Museum Assistant to the Conservation Department at the National Gallery of Australia. With over 30 years’ devoted to Fine Art Logistics, Simon has a wealth of experience in preventative conservation with a focus on handling, packing and installation. He possesses excellent design, manufacturing and packing skills and techniques. In his role of National Technical and Training Manager, Simon is committed to the continuous improvement of all at IAS including management, administration, and field staff. He enjoys working with the individual members of our team, in delivering our company standards of packing, handling and transporting all forms of artwork through National training programs, onboarding and professional development for all IAS staff.

Paul Cartwright

State Manager NSW

Paul has a life time of experience working within the Australian art logistics industry. Paul has worked at both Woollahra Art Removals and IAS in Sydney in a variety of roles, before being appointed to the position of our State Manager. Our Sydney branch services the entire state of NSW, whilst being a major hub to our National art shuttle service. Paul prides himself on the relationships he has established over the years with artists, galleries and institutions and enjoys being able to deliver great customer service, whilst providing solutions to his clients.

Max Gibson

State Manager VIC

Max has a wealth of experience within arts and logistics industry. After completing his studies at Melbourne University in art history and creative writing Max spent the next 5 years working at art auction houses. During this period Max was intrigued by the practicalities and challenging nature of handling and moving precious artworks around Australia. His introduction to the logistics of the art industry, commenced with his employment at IAS as an Art handler and Driver. Max has since gained hands on experience at IAS in the areas of warehousing, sales, customer service, operations, and scheduling. In his role as State Manager of Victoria Max oversees the daily operation of the Victorian Branch. Over the years Max has developed a great affiliation with his clients and is able to offer cost effective solutions drawn from his hands on experience.

Peter Strang

State Manager ACT

For over 30 years Peter has provided quality workable solutions to his corporate, commercial, private clientele. As a long-term Canberra local Peter has a breadth of experience in transporting sensitive freight and items of value. He has also project managed contracts for large scale Government support services. He has an experienced eye and an intuitive feel for the sensitivities of what we do in delivering our services to clients. Peter supports our growing network across the IAS Business though our Canberra branch by establishing and maintaining relationships with our existing and new clients.

Ross Hall

State Manager QLD

Ross has extensive experience in the art logistics industry in Australia. Ross worked at both Woollahra Art Removals and IAS in Melbourne in a variety of operational roles, before moving to Brisbane. As Manager of the Queensland branch of IAS, he services not only Brisbane and surrounding cities, but also the far north coastal towns via the Cairns Shuttle services.

Doug Walker

State Manager WA

Doug has worked within transport operations and logistics management for many years. He has a solid background in sensitive freight and fleet management, and is experienced in the transport of Artworks, high-end furniture, warehouse relocations and efficient delivery of time-sensitive retail goods. Doug enjoys developing close working relationships with customers, ensuring your valuable goods are transported with the level of care they deserve.

Tara Callaghan

State Manager SA/NT

Tara has been drawn to the arts industry for most of her working life. After graduating with a Bachelor of Photography / Honours from the Griffith University, Tara worked as a gallerist in Byron Bay, before moving to the Broken Hill Regional Gallery as the Gallery and Museum Manager. After four years at BHRAG Tara took up a role with Museums & Galleries Queensland. As Manager of our Adelaide Branch, Tara will also oversee our Northern Territory business activities. Tara, who has a distinct knowledge and love of the arts, has been warmly welcomed into the Adelaide arts community. Her willingness to assist and can-do attitude will be of great benefit to our clients.

Kelly Baker

National Exhibitions Manager

Kelly joined IAS in 2002 and has gained a wide variety of experience in many aspects of our business and fine art logistics. As our National Exhibitions Manager, he works closely with our exhibition clients, utilising his extensive industry experience to deliver cost effective and workable solutions. Kelly has a great rapport with people and a passion for the industry. He prides himself on delivering great customer service and exceeding client expectations no matter how big or small the challenge maybe.

Alison Guthrie

Business Development Manager

With over 23 years experience, Alison is a trusted face in the industry and possesses excellent knowledge in art logistics and project management. She has a keen interest in public art and was Project Manager on five of the Kaldor Public Art Projects. In her role as Business Development Manager, Alison thrives on the opportunity to discuss with clients the right way to move and store their precious pieces.

Sean Rudder

Senior Project Manager

With more than 30 years experience in managing major storage and relocation projects Sean prides himself on his close attention to detail, meticulous pre-planning, client communication and thorough understanding of each unique project. Sean relishes the opportunity of being involved in a project from the outset where he can draw on his years of experience to provide the most cost-effective workable solutions. He is a true professional with a calm approach and has a reputation for delivering large scale projects on time and on budget. As our Senior Project Manager, Sean will work alongside the rest of the Projects Team in managing a wide range of projects nationally.

Tom Maguire

Crating Manager Sydney

Tom ran his own framing business in the ACT before moving to Sydney to work with a premier graphic outputting company. He joined IAS as an art handler in the late 1990’s. With over 15 years’ experience, Tom thrives on what he does as he finds there is always something new, and challenging, to do in the arts industry.
